One of the foundational works of modern Theosophy and Western esotericism, The Secret Doctrine attempts an enormous synthesis of ancient religion, mythology, occult philosophy, cosmology and human origins.
Volume II, Anthropogenesis, contains Blavatsky’s esoteric account of the origins and development of humanity and includes discussions of the Book of Dzyan, Atlantis, Lemuria, prehistoric continents, the “Root Races,” ancient civilizations, celestial influences, mythology, occult symbolism and the supposed hidden history of humanity.

PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: The front internal hinge is substantially separated, exposing the underlying binding material, and the front board/endpaper assembly is loose. The book remains together, but the binding requires careful handling. Cloth shows rubbing, marks and general shelf wear. Page edges show age toning and some soiling. Interior pages otherwise appear generally clean and readable from the portions examined. Please review all photographs closely.
