Two ornate gold-tone monogram fittings, attributed to Imperial Russian uniform cyphers associated with Alexander I and Alexander II. Their elaborate openwork scrolls and textured raised detailing make an attractive display for collectors of historical uniform insignia.
Each measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1 inch tall. Both have flat rear attachment prongs. Offered together as a two-piece lot.
Condition: Good overall appearance, with scattered surface wear, small areas of discoloration, and bent attachment tabs. One fitting is missing one of its four rear prongs, leaving three; the other retains four. Please review the detailed front and reverse photographs.
Exact identification and manufacture date remain unconfirmed. These are offered as unattributed-period collectible fittings, without a guarantee of pre-1917 manufacture.
