Batman and Robin in The Cheetah Caper is a 1969 illustrated superhero adventure by George S. Elrick, published by Whitman as an authorized Big Little Book. It follows the duo through a Gotham City mystery involving the Cheetah.
For Batman collectors, the appeal is the book itself as much as the story: a compact piece of late 1960s Batman publishing, with colorful character illustrations and the distinctive Big Little Book format. It also offers a nostalgic read for someone who grew up with Batman and Robin.
The story pairs short chapters of prose with full-page color illustrations. This copy has its original illustrated covers and a handwritten gift inscription dated April 1971. It shows substantial wear: heavy rubbing and chipping to the covers, damage and separation at the top of the spine, wear at the inner hinge, and age toning and scattered spotting to the pages. Please review the photos closely for the binding and overall condition.
