Virginia: A Guide to the Old Dominion compiled by workers of the Writers’ Program of the Works Projects Administration in the State of Virginia. Hardcover reprint edition published in 1992 by the Virginia State Library and Archives in cooperation with the Virginia Center for the Book.
Originally published in 1940 as part of the American Guide Series documenting the history, culture, and travel routes of Virginia. Includes historical photographs, maps, and detailed descriptions of towns, landmarks, and regional history.
Condition:
Good pre-owned condition overall. Binding is solid and pages are clean with normal age toning. There is a visible black stain/discoloration on the page edges and a dark mark near the fore edge that carries slightly onto a few page margins (see photos). Does not affect readability of the text. Minor shelf wear to the cover.
