Italian “ITALIA” collar badge featuring an upright Roman gladius sword within a detailed leafy wreath. The design is associated with the Repubblica Sociale Italiana (RSI) during 1943–1945. An interesting piece for collectors of Italian military insignia and WWII uniform history.
Silver-tone metal with raised detailing, an openwork wreath, and a flat rear attachment tab. Measures approximately just under 1 inch wide and just over 1 inch tall. Includes one badge.
Condition: Surface wear, darkened patina, scattered oxidation, and finish loss, as pictured. Rear attachment tab is present and bent. No maker’s mark is visible. Exact manufacture date and wartime originality have not been independently verified. Please examine all photographs for details.
