Space Exploration / Apollo 11 — Signed first edition, first printing of Men From Earth by Buzz Aldrin and Malcolm McConnell, published by Bantam Books in 1989.
Personally signed by Apollo 11 astronaut and moonwalker Buzz Aldrin with a large, bold signature on the half-title page.
The copyright page displays the complete number line ending in 1, confirming the first printing. Hardcover retains its original illustrated dust jacket with the iconic cover highlighting Aldrin’s July 20, 1969 moonwalk and the history of Project Apollo.
Aldrin recounts the development of America’s space program from the early Space Race through Gemini and Apollo, culminating in Apollo 11 and Tranquility Base. Written from the perspective of one of only twelve people ever to walk on the Moon, this is an especially desirable signed piece of twentieth-century space-exploration history.
