Six matching Austro-Hungarian NCO-pattern shako cockades featuring gold-toned metal surrounds with concentric, rope-textured rings and black fabric centers.
The contrasting black and gold design makes an attractive addition to a European military headgear collection or insignia display. Four retain their elongated wire mounting loops; the remaining two are loose cockade bodies without loops.
Measurements: Each circular cockade measures just over 1.5 inches in diameter. The four examples with mounting loops measure approximately 4.1–4.2 inches in overall length, including the attachment.
Condition: Good overall display condition, with varying tarnish, surface marks, finish wear and wear to the black fabric centers. One loose example shows more noticeable fabric wear. Two mounting loops are missing. Please review the photographs showing all six fronts and backs.
