Condition: Fair overall; needs rebinding. The text block is separating from the covers, with exposed backing and broken inner hinges. Internal splits and looseness are also present. Boards show rubbing, marks, and wear to the corners and spine ends. Pages have age toning, with chips and tears to some preliminary leaves. Previous owner’s name and December 1926 date appear in pencil, along with other pencil notations and a small bookseller’s label. The photographed interior illustrations remain clear and attractive.
