A true 1910 first edition of An Annapolis First Classman by Lieutenant Commander Edward L. Beach, U.S. Navy, with illustrations by noted American artist Frank T. Merrill.

This is the fourth and final volume in Beach’s original Annapolis series, following a young midshipman through his senior year at the United States Naval Academy. The story combines naval training, discipline, friendship, responsibility, seamanship, and adventure, offering readers a fascinating period portrayal of Annapolis life before World War I. An appealing collectible for Naval Academy alumni, military-history readers, vintage juvenile-fiction collectors, and U.S. Navy enthusiasts.

Published by the Penn Publishing Company in 1910. Decorative blue cloth hardcover with illustrated front board and spine. No dust jacket.

Poor but collectible condition. The front hinge is completely split, leaving the front cover loose from the text block while still attached at the spine. Covers show substantial rubbing, staining, fading, fraying, edge wear, and exposed material. Page edges have heavy discoloration, spotting, surface loss, and apparent old moisture damage. Interior pages show age-toning and scattered staining but remain readable. Offered as a scarce first-edition reading, display, or restoration copy. Please examine every photograph carefully.
